We can tailor a workshop specifically to the needs and interests of your students, incorporating topics such as healthy eating, cuisines from around the world, seasonal cookery, food provenance and much more.
Workshops take place at the Taste Academy in central Ipswich. Over the course of the session they will cook up to four different dishes from scratch, whilst learning about the provenance of different ingredients and enlightening them about what’s really in some of their favourite processed foods. We are also able to come to your school to deliver workshops, depending on your facilities.
Both the packages that we offer can be tailored around your students and their curricular requirements and the price includes all ingredients, equipment and DBS checked instructors.
Package 1 - Half day (2.5hrs) £21 a head for minimum of 12 students, reduces to £19 a head for 15 students or more (max 20)
Package 2 - Full Day (5hrs) £35 a head for minimum of 12 students, reduces to £32 a head for 15 students or more (max 20)
The Cooking Club did a wonderful job organising two days of food and cookery related activities for our students. They thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the school environment, collecting their own ingredients and then creating exciting dishes from these within a more professional kitchen. At the end they instantly asked if we could do it again, so we are!
